Others had driven to Blair Atholl and followed the Tilt Walk. Alongside the river itself much of the way, woodland paths and views further up the glen provided the interest. A slight deviation on the return did not spoil the 6-mile route and the group ended up in a cafe near the main road to slake their thirst.
A quiz provided some entertainment for the final evening at the hotel.
Before returning home, two of the party, and their dog Bess, travelled to the Hermitage. From there they undertook the Braan Walk which is a circular walk of about five miles passing Ossian’s Hall and Cave, waterfalls
